The survival horror genre can expect a new addition to the fold in the form of Alien: Isolation, coming early October.
Lead designer for Creative Assembly, Gary Napper spoke to GamingBolt about the developing on the Xbox One eSRAM and whether it presented any problems.

On pushing for the golden 1080p/60fps, Napper says, "We are still in the final stages of development on the game, so we'd definitely be aiming as high and as fast as we can." The June SDK should also help on this matter, freeing up unused Kinect GPU to implement in other aspects of development.

Asked whether there were any challenges when using the Xbox One eSRAM, he stated; "“We haven’t really had any version specific issues because we’ve developed the game as a central version first. I think mostly what we care about is the gameplay feeling right, that’s not costing anything depending on what platform. We are also making it for PS3 and Xbox 360, so we have to make sure that the previous-gen is still supported and it’s still the same essential core game there.”

Other developers have criticised the Xbox One eSRAM, citing other consoles RAM to be superior and less limiting to work with. However, Napper claims to have had no problems at all on that front. After being asked if he had been confronted with any issues, he said, "“Not that I am aware, no (laughs). No I mean, I don’t wanna jinx it, but so far it’s been pretty good.”

Alien: Isolation is released 7th October 2014 on all platforms.
